The band hail from Newry and Dublin, Ireland, where members Philly Byrne (vocals), Domo Dixon and John Roche (guitars) and Joe McGuigan (bass and vocals) bonded over trash cinema, comic books and 80s thrash metal cassettes, pouring these influences into their music and art.

More than 20 years of touring and recording later, GAMA BOMB’s eighth album BATS (Prosthetic Records, December 2023) cemented their status as cult thrash band for the ages.

Now the subject of documentary feature film ‘Survival Of The Fastest’ directed by Kiran Acharya, the band’s enduring friendship and creative ballsiness has seen them stay the course, making consistently madcap, inventive music and killer live shows their hallmark.

Outburst:

Outburst play old-school Speed/Thrash Metal!

The cornerstones of their sound are early Exodus, Vio-Lence, Dark Angel, Deathrow, and beer.

Outburst stand for uncompromising, aggressive songs and live performances full of energy!

After the two demos “Await The Storm” (2019), “Ravager” (2021), and the 5-track EP “With A Vengeance” (2022), the Flensburg-based band finally return with their debut album “Devouring The Masses”!
