Mit Smith&Smart stehen Plattentelleryoda Robert Smith und Herr Smart zu ihrem Wort und lassen Euch schwitzen und hüpfen! Drowning Dog and Malatesta mittlerweile auch aus Berlin aber sehr weit gereist und mal in San Francisco geboren worden, spucken dem System kräftig ins Gesicht und leben ihre Sicht aufs Ganze arschcool auf der Bühne aus! Lisaholic kommt allein und hört sich an als würde eine mehrköpige Kapelle Gas geben. Intelligente, groovende und rotzfreche Musike auch zum mitsingen!

Smith&Smart

Die von der Grösse her kleinste Band aus Berlin, bestehend aus Maxwell Smart und DJ Robert Smith, dem deutschen Meister im Scratchen, ist ein abartiger Hip Hop aus dem familiären Untergrund. Live meistens eine gemütliche gymnastikparty, auf Schallplatte auch mal dadaistisch, kritisch und eine Frechheit. hier trifft tighte Turntable Technik auf theatralische Tanzbarkeit. in 20 Jahren Bandgeschichte haben die beiden noschooler ihre Freude zur Musik, die im wesentlichen Hip Hop, aber im allgemeinen auch mal ganz frei davon ist, nie verloren!

Drowning Dog and Malatesta create music and live sets that subvert genre, charting a new sonic map by synchronizing mutated hiphop, smashed-up beats, and DD’s explosive state presence described as "one of the most gifted rappers in politically minded hip-hop" spitting out near-impossible phrases and rhythmic variations that leave the listener's head spinning.

She brings high passion anti-authoritarian class conscious lyrical gymnastics and links it up in a perfect way with Malatesta's claustrophobic dark sound, which is strongly influenced by Spectre and EL-P from Brooklyn, you could call their music a mash-up of the 90's Brooklyn illbient sound and electronic bass music.

DDM have created their own big fat crunchy sound with a dramatic and sometimes abstract atmosphere.

Die Beats von Lisaholic sind so umfangreich, wie die Briefmarkensammlung deiner Großeltern! Von oldschool HipHop und Dubstep über 140er Bassmusik und Techno bis hin zu Dnb und Happy Hardcore. Bewaffnet mit ihrer Stimme, einer Loopstation und einem simplen Mikrofon überzeugt Lisa mit hotten Sounds und ner fetten Pointe. Lisa rappt, beatboxt und produziert ihre Beats selber.
